Making Tax Digital is an HMRC strategy. It was created to help make it simpler for businesses and individuals to arrange their tax affairs. It will shortly be mandatory for all businesses to become 'Making Tax Digital' compliant. To do this companies have to ensure all of their records are kept digitally - using dedicated accounting or bookkeeping software.
